They provide unrivalled support to the UK business on a daily basis, planning and coordinating plant and compliance courses across the UK through internal and external partners. Without their organisation and administration skills, tenacity and team player mentality, we wouldn’t be the success we are today. As the Lead Coordinator in this team, you will build on your exceptional skills and be supported every step of the way in developing a solid foundation of knowledge and expertise of the company and the industry. What You Will Be Doing: Provide day-to-day support with all plant and compliance training activities at EMR. The role is responsible for leading the coordination of all training activities, acting as lead for the administration and coordination team. You will: Provide direction and support to Depot Coordinators and other colleagues that cover operational site and company-wide training. Ensure that hospitality, room layout and equipment for participants attending workshops and events are arranged. Identify potential new external suppliers through due diligence and following EMR procurement processes. Develop and maintain accurate and easily accessible records and processes for all learning and development activities; including recording and monitoring attendance, ensuring that colleagues required to attend specific workshops are easily identified and followed up. Ensure that good communication structures exists with line managers and delegates to ensure all staff colleague booked on events within agreed timeframes and understand the requirements to attend booked sessions. Manage external supplier relationships, providing the right training to the right colleagues at the right time. Maintain external accreditations where needed, such as NPORS. Coordinate with external venue suppliers with all planning for off-site training. Ensure evaluation forms are completed and returned for each training event. Lead on the processing of data and generating of reports based on this evaluation data. Support the internal communications team with any operational training initiatives and communications. Ensuring Purchase Orders are raised, received, invoiced and recharged. Work closely with operational plant trainers and assessors, regional coordinators, DACs and capability leads to proactively plan training activities About You:
You’re organised, proactive, and have a strong can-do attitude. You work well as part of a team, enjoy being hands-on, and have good customer service and communication skills. You’re comfortable working in a busy environment - be this on site or in the office - coordinating day-to-day activities, and supporting training programmes. If you like keeping things running efficiently and seeing people develop, this role could be right up your street! You'll have experience in training administration and coordination, and associated learning management systems, with the ideal candidates having worked with national accreditations such as NPORS previously.
