Job Description
JOB TITLE:
Lead Customer Journey Manager, FX E-Trading
SALARY:
Competitive, will be discussed at interview stage
LOCATION:
London
HOURS:
Full time
WORKING PATTERN:
Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
About this Opportunity:
This is a senior individual contributor role for someone with deep experience of FX electronic trading, trading platforms and data-driven product optimisation. You'll work at the intersection of Sales, Trading, Product and Engineering, helping shape the future of our electronic FX proposition.
Bringing strong knowledge of FX trading workflows, electronic trading platforms and client needs, you'll find opportunities to improve customer journeys, enhance platform performance and deliver commercial value.
While this is a senior role, success will come from a willingness to stay close to the detail. We're looking for someone who enjoys investigating issues, analysing data, understanding platform behaviour and working directly with product and engineering teams to deliver meaningful improvements.
The Lead Customer Journey Manager plays a key role in product development, supporting the Product Owner and wider team in understanding, measuring and continuously improving customer journeys across our FX E-Trading platform.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop a deep understanding of end-to-end FX e-trading customer journeys, from client interaction through to execution and post-trade activity.
- Use customer insight, trading data and market knowledge to find opportunities to improve client experience, platform performance and business outcomes.
- Partner with Product Owners, Engineers, Sales and Trading teams to prioritise and deliver enhancements across the eFX platform.
- Analyse trading workflows, execution data and platform behaviour to find opportunities for optimisation and growth.
- Contribute directly to solution design, operational improvement and platform evolution through hands-on investigation and problem solving.
- Build and maintain customer journey maps, process models and supporting documentation across complex trading workflows.
- Build alignment across front-office, technology and control functions to deliver customer-focused outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
