An ambitious early-stage technology business, specialising in cutting-edge automation through AI-powered tools. Our flagship product is an AI-driven assistant that optimises operational efficiencies in:

The Role
As Lead Data Engineer, you’ll assume senior technical authority over the data stack—designing robust systems while developing scalable pipelines, frameworks, and AI/ML infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, own, and refine end-to-end data architecture
- Develop scalable batch and real-time data pipelines
- Build ingestion, storage, and transformation frameworks
- Create infrastructure to support AI and machine learning products
- Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of large datasets
This is a hands-on senior role—no management oversight required—where technical leadership directly shapes the company’s data strategy.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in:
- Python for data/backend engineering
- Design and implementation of scalable distributed systems
- Batch and streaming pipeline engineering
- PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- NoSQL and modern vector databases (e.g., Qdrant, Milvus, pgvector)
