Lead Data Engineer - London (Hybrid - 4 days in office) - £100,000–£120,000 + Equity
A fast-growing AI startup using intelligent automation to transform the property management industry is looking for a Lead Data Engineer to build and scale the data platform powering their AI products.
What will I be doing?
- Design and scale data pipelines, infrastructure, and modern data architecture.
- Build batch, real-time, and vector search pipelines for AI workloads.
- Partner with AI, backend, and product teams to deliver reliable, high-performance systems.
- Own data strategy, engineering standards, and help grow the data function.

What we're looking for:
- Strong Data Engineering experience with Python and distributed data systems.
- Expertise in modern data pipelines, relational/NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with technologies such as Spark, Airflow, Kafka, or vector databases is beneficial.
- A high-ownership engineer who enjoys building from scratch in a fast-paced startup.
