Lead Data Engineer - Python, Snowflake, dbt - FinTech Platform
Our client, a fast-growing fintech, is looking for a Lead Data Engineer to play a key role in shaping the next generation of its cloud data platform. This is an opportunity to lead the design and delivery of scalable data infrastructure that underpins real-time products, analytics, and AI-driven capabilities, while influencing technical direction and engineering best practices across the team. You'll join a collaborative, engineering-first environment where you'll have genuine ownership, work with modern technologies, and help build a platform that supports the company's continued growth.

- Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and observability.
Requirements
- Strong Python engineering experience, including software engineering best practices, testing, and CI/CD.
- Deep expertise in SQL, data modelling, and building scalable cloud data platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt in production environments.
- Experience designing and maintaining robust data pipelines and event-driven architectures.
- Good understanding of distributed systems and real-time data processing, with Kafka experience highly desirable.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and influence engineering standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
