π We're hiring: DSPM Lead / Principal Engineer β Microsoft Purview (Contract)
π Remote (with periodic on-site in London) | π 10-week contract, starting w/c 21 July 2026 |
IT Armi is partnering with a leading specialty insurer, to build and deliver a Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) capability powered by Microsoft Purview β across M365, Azure, and Databricks. This is a Build-Operate-Transfer engagement with a hard compliance deadline: CIS Controls Framework readiness by 30 September 2026.
We're looking for a senior Purview specialist who can hit the ground running and own the technical delivery end-to-end.
π οΈ What you'll do:
- Architect the Purview Information Protection framework β sensitivity labels, auto-labelling, information barriers
- Configure DLP policies across Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure
- Integrate Purview Data Lifecycle Management with Databricks
- Build CIS 18 compliance evidence and expose it via API into GRC platform
- Lead sprint ceremonies and mentor a supporting engineer
- Deliver knowledge transfer and BAU handover by Sprint 5

β What you bring:
- Hands-on Microsoft Purview delivery (Information Protection, DLP, Data Lifecycle Management, Compliance Manager)
- M365 E5 security stack expertise
- Azure data governance (Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, Purview)
- Strong PowerShell/Python for automation and reporting
- CIS Controls knowledge (especially CIS 3 & 18)
- Experience with GRC platform integrations and agile delivery
- Confidence presenting to CISO-level stakeholders
