Lead DCI Operations Specialist

About this role

We are looking for an enquiring, passionate, and collaborative individual that can help shape the team’s knowledge of Capital One systems and processes, by championing the coaching and mentoring of the team, to avoid single point of failure.

You will be responsible for expanding operational knowledge and understanding, within the International Settlement Support team, of Core Applications, including, Authorisations, Settlement, Pricing and Fees.

What You’ll Do

  • Interact and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, to create documentation, including system flow, aligned with team processes.
  • Leverage the team’s existing knowledge with new insights and learnings, ensuring process documentation updated.
  • Provide continuous support in all systematic/operational aspects and assist with issue resolution.
  • Manage dependencies with other department functions while identifying and managing a strategic partnership across multiple teams.
  • Become International Settlement Support SME for Core applications.
  • Coach and mentor all team members by planning and executing learnings from system knowledge gained.
  • Manage configuration on core applications for boarding of new clients including system data table management and implementation on new network products (EMV, Digital, e-Commerce, Contactless etc).
  • Build a culture of accountability and ownership, by empowering team members to be curious and apply learnings to their day-to-day responsibilities.

What we’re looking for

  • Able to demonstrate reliability, self-motivation, and a willingness to accept responsibility and accountability.
  • Cross functional knowledge of the Payment Network Industry focusing on operations
  • Strong relationship building skills with multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple parallel projects and issues.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with all levels of employees and management; including managing expectations, communicating issues, risks and opportunities.

Where and how you'll work

This is a full time position and is based in our Farnborough office. To be eligible you must reside in the UK.

We have a hybrid working model, so you’ll be based in our office 2 days a week.
