As a Lead Delivery Manager in Technology, you will be responsible for delivering high-value, complex initiatives across all areas of technology. You will work in collaboration with the business to understand their needs, drive results, and deliver excellence. You will manage risks, issues, and budgets, ensuring that initiatives are delivered to schedule, budget, scope, and the highest quality standards. You will also work in a collaborative way with multiple third parties and matrix teams, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
The Role:
We are seeking someone with strong technology delivery experience within a B2B environment to partner closely with our B2B Commercial, Operations, and Transformation teams, delivering a prioritised portfolio of continuous improvement initiatives and project work.
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering B2B technology and platform initiatives, particularly those involving customer-facing tools, integrations, and service enablement, alongside a solid understanding of B2B operational processes such as order management, fulfilment, and account management.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the delivery of multiple technology initiatives, ranging from £3–7m, across different domains and platforms.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders, understanding their requirements and ensuring that initiatives deliver value while meeting expectations.
- Define and implement the delivery strategy, approach, and plan, ensuring initiatives align with best practices and project management standards.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, communication, and risks, while proactively resolving issues or conflicts.
- Coordinate and collaborate with delivery teams, third parties, and other delivery managers to identify and manage dependencies, interdependencies, and integration points.
- Provide regular and transparent reporting, status updates to senior management and governance boards, and escalate issues or risks requiring attention.
- Drive the adoption of agile and lean methodologies, tools, and techniques to foster an environment of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement within the delivery teams and technology function.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate delivery teams by ensuring they possess the skills, capabilities, and support to deliver successfully.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience delivering complex, high-value technology initiatives across multiple domains and enterprise-scale platforms. Experience with MuleSoft, Oracle, Salesforce, and Microsoft Azure is essential.
- Demonstrated experience operating within large, complex organisations (e.g. FTSE 250, multinational, or top-tier professional services), excelling in balancing governance, delivery pace, and commercial outcomes.
- Hands-on experience working across modern enterprise technology landscapes, applying industry trends and best practices to secure pragmatic delivery decisions.
- Strong experience in managing and influencing senior stakeholders, including negotiation of scope, priorities, funding, and delivery trade-offs at all organisational levels.
- Expertise in leading delivery teams, cultivating strong engagement, accountability, and sustained performance.
- Experience owning integrated delivery plans, covering prioritisation, dependency management, issue resolution, and complex problem-solving across multiple workstreams.
- Capability to deliver successfully in ambiguous and fast-changing environments, adapting delivery approaches as priorities and risks shift.
- Strong experience owning budgets (>£3m) with oversight of financial forecasting, cost control, and benefits realisation as initiatives progress.
- Proven expertise leading delivery across multi-vendor ecosystems, including systems integrators, SaaS providers, and specialist partners, with accountability for commercial management and supplier performance.
- Experience applying both agile and waterfall methodologies, influenced by the risk, complexity, and regulatory context of the initiative.
- Relevant experience delivering in regulated and/or high-risk environments, maintaining operational stability, managing customer impact, and ensuring compliance throughout.
