Working Pattern

  • Monday - Thursday: 8:45am - 5:30pm
  • Friday: 7:45am - 5:00pm

We’re looking for a GDC Registered Lead Dental Nurse to join our friendly team at Wellington. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nurse who is passionate about leading, supporting colleagues, and delivering outstanding patient care.

🦷 Your Role as Lead Dental Nurse

  • Support the Practice Manager and clinicians in the day-to-day running of the practice
  • Lead, mentor, and support the nursing team
  • Ensure compliance with CQC and clinical governance standards
  • Deliver exceptional chairside support and patient care
  • Drive a positive, high-performing team culture

  • GDC Registered Dental Nurse
  • Previous experience in a senior or lead role (or ready to step up!)
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • A proactive, positive attitude with a passion for teamwork

Lead Dental Nurse Skills And Experience

  • Confident leading a team
  • GDC Registered
  • Preferred Dentally experience
  • Ensure CQC requirements are met and manage audits
  • Oversee reception and staff rotas
  • Update patient records
  • Set up decontamination of instruments
  • Provide clinical chair-side support to dentists
  • Undertake some reception duties
  • Personable, positive and enthusiastic with a great customer focus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Provide excellent patient care
