Lead DevOps Engineer – Hardware Infrastructure and Security
📍 Central London (Hybrid, 2–3 days/week) | 💰 Up to £150,000 | 🚀 Out of seed funding

- Building an AI operating system tailored to high-stakes, compliance-sensitive sectors
- Guaranteed ownership of systems from architecting to Incident Handles post-launch
- Embedded in a small team (15 people) of operators from elite Enterprise AI backgrounds
Who You Are
Core Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise
- Owns DevOps at world-class level—FAANG or top-tier AI founders only
- 4+ years of devops & related specialities (SRE, Platform Engineering)
- On-call mentality—can think & act functionally under critical circumstances

Elevated Requirements
- Self-managed ownership — no "interface supervisor" role; devops requires focus ownership
- Hands-on with Kubernetes, GitOps (ArgoCD preferred), IaC (Terraform, OpenTofu, Terragrunt)
- AWS-centric, but cross-cloud knowledge is a plus
- Multi-tenant capacities, especially securing enterprise-grade customer-isolated environments
- Values security & compliance overlays (SOC2, HIPAA)
Key Responsibilities
GitOps and Cluster Infrastructure
- Operate advanced ArgoCD-backed GitOps deployment across multi-cluster environments
- Leverage EKS with best-in-class remote engineering touches
Scalable Security Framework
- Deployment across isolated, per-customer environments of owns
- Design & enforce safety controls for secrets, RBACs & harden infrastructure
Operational Resilience
- Build & manage observability (metrics/logs/tracing/dashboard ruling on health alerts)
- Define runbooks for incisive incident response

Developer Experience
- Create frictionless flow for deployments & debugging by onboard 1% per-day modes
