Job Description
Netcompany is looking for talented Lead DevOps Engineers to join our growing Cloud Operations Team and help enhance the support, delivery, and evolution of our Netcompany Platforms solutions. In this role, you will help build high-performing, resilient, and secure services for our clients, working alongside a skilled and forward-thinking engineering community.
As a hands-on Lead DevOps Engineer, you will have extensive experience designing, implementing, and operating cloud-based solutions for complex enterprise environments and high-profile clients. Proven expertise in cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, Kubernetes, and CI/CD platforms, delivering scalable, secure, and highly available solutions.
Adept at leading DevOps strategy, driving platform modernization, and implementing best practices across cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and observability. Experienced in mentoring engineering teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring reliable, resilient platforms that meet evolving business and technical requirements.
Leadership
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive DevOps best practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Proven experience designing, building, and operating cloud-native platforms in Azure and/or AWS.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and identity & access management (IAM).
- Hands-on experience implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and platform operations.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience designing and implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, ELK/EFK.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Experience designing and implementing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures.
- Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization practices.
- Experience implementing DevSecOps principles and security controls within CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building developer platforms and self-service capabilities.
Qualifications
Essential
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance.
- Willingness to travel within the UK when required.

- Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
- AWS Solutions Architect – Associate
- AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate
