As a bridge between regional and global teams, you’ll drive platform reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement through technical leadership and process excellence. This is a hands-on engineering role with cross-functional accountability, risk management, and a focus on solving operational challenges for mission-critical systems.

You’ll work with scale, automation, and infrastructure-as-code at an enterprise level, providing a specialized expertise in onboarding, operations, and deployment for global business units. Your contributions will directly address the operational risks of critical information products, profit centres, and regional business commitments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Release & Deployment Management

  • Lead the regional execution of all major, minor, and emergency deployments via automated CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high-quality, on-time releases.
  • Coordinate with Global Platform testers to oversee post-deployment validation, documenting and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Deputise for the Operations and Technical Release Manager in managing the full Change Advisory Board (CAB) ticket lifecycle, ensuring traceability and compliance in deployments.
  • Lead, manage, and prioritise Kanban workflows, driving effectiveness and continuous process improvement in release operations.
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination of development and change activities across UK region, aligning with business objectives and minimising disruption.
  • Champion continuous improvement by analysing release outcomes, gathering stakeholder feedback, and implementing process refinements.
  • Communicate release status and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and proactive resolution.

2. Testing & Change Management

  • Collaborate with Global Platform testers to coordinate regression testing of changes affecting UK-stakeholder platforms.
  • Act as liaison between Global and UK teams, leading alignment in release-readiness, risk, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate clear documentation and communication of test outcomes, risks, and cross-departmental dependencies.
  • Drive process optimisation by pinpointing bottlenecks and best practices in testing and deployment coordination.

3. Platform Operations & Monitoring

  • Provide technical leadership for the operations of UK-deployed Global Business Platforms, ensuring compliance with SLAs, SLOs, RTOs, and service commitments.
  • Oversee incident escalation, monitoring, and 24x7 out-of-hours support, ensuring rapid remediation to minimise disruption.
  • Collaborate with Global Operations & Risk teams to analyse platform availability, performance, and capacity reports, supporting proactive capacity planning.
  • Improve operational processes by identifying risks and implementing best practices for reliability and outbreak alerting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
