Lead Document Controller – Document Management

Partner with the best

As a Lead Document Controller – Document Management, you will coordinate document control activities for multiple large-scale subsea projects in a dynamic, client-facing environment. You will ensure effective management of project documentation while supporting successful project delivery and compliance with customer requirements.

As a Lead Document Controller, you will:

  • Managing technical documentation including storage, review, approval, and distribution for large-scale projects.
  • Acting as the primary client focal point for Document Control activities.
  • Supervising and coordinating global Document Control teams supporting assigned projects.
  • Implementing project-specific Document Management Plans in line with contractual requirements.
  • Managing the Master Document Register (MDR) within Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
  • Producing and distributing document control reports and performance metrics to stakeholders.
  • Leading the timely delivery of technical documentation throughout project execution.
  • Driving compliance with global standards while identifying and implementing process improvements.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Document Control role.
  • Have hands-on experience using Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
  • Have experience coordinating document management activities on engineering or major capital projects.
  • Have experience working within the Oil & Gas or a similar technical industry.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing interactions.
  • Have excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and prioritization abilities.
  • Have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Have a proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
