Job Title
Principal, Senior and Lead Electrical Engineers
Summary
We’re seeking experienced Electrical Engineers at Principal, Senior and Lead levels to join a major project team in Woking. These positions are ideal for professionals who thrive on delivering robust electrical designs and ensuring projects meet the highest standards. You’ll apply your technical expertise across a wide range of complex engineering deliverables.
Location and Working Pattern
Woking office-based, with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote each week.
Client Overview
Our client is a leading organisation in the engineering sector, tasked with delivering high-profile projects safely, on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver project work in line with Discipline Design Instructions and related company/project procedures
- Prepare engineering deliverables including Base of Design, technical specifications, load lists, datasheets, calculations, single line diagrams, equipment sizing, material take-offs, drawings and schematics
- Conduct Electrical System studies using ETAP
- Provide input to layouts, equipment lists and cost estimates
- Manage electrical engineering activities, including progress reporting and adherence to checking and quality procedures
- Support project change management, ensuring scope clarity and compliance
- Assist in procurement processes, technical evaluations and vendor liaison
- Ensure adherence to international and regional electrical codes and standards, including Aramco SAES where required
- Review vendor engineering deliverables for compliance with specifications and technical standards
- Design motor protection and control wiring diagrams
- Represent the electrical discipline in client, project team and vendor meetings

Must-have Requirements
- Strong experience as an Electrical Engineer on large-scale projects
- Ability to produce detailed design deliverables and calculations
- Proficiency in conducting system studies using ETAP (or similar software)
- Sound knowledge of relevant electrical standards and codes
- Strong communication skills and ability to interface with stakeholders effectively
- Aramco SAES and Saudi regulatory standards
- Track record of working on international engineering projects
