Lead Endoscopy Nurse
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Endoscopy Nurse to join an innovative team at UHD. We have a dedicated newly built CDC unit opening in July 2026 to facilitate a Hub and spoke model of care for our patients. We also provide wider expertise and support to the Dorset Network. The role will include working across the acute and elective pathways and providing that expertise and leadership.
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate nurse who has a proven track record of leadership and change management that delivers exceptional standards of patient care. You will be an expert practitioner responsible for clinical leadership, operational management and strategic development of the Endoscopy services working closely alongside the senior leadership team.
The post holder will play a key role in improving clinical outcomes and enhancing the role of nurse led services and working towards an integrated approach to care.

To provide strategic leadership and vision for Endoscopy Nursing team in UHD. To ensure we have a quality driven service which is responsive and equitable. To take the lead role in operational management of the Endoscopy service, working alongside lead consultants and service managers To champion Endoscopy nursing within the wider nursing community and undertake relevant service development reviews. To balance the role across leadership priorities and clinical activity.
UHD are investing, developing and transforming Trust services in line with the New Hospital Programme. As part of this, some services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or permanently. Recruiting Managers will be happy to answer any service-specific questions at interview.
