Job Purpose

Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains. Serving two primary markets – passenger vehicle and commercial truck – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Lead Engineer will take ownership of delivering software, managing related activities for complex automotive embedded controllers used in electrified powertrain systems. With focus on understanding complete powertrain architecture, interfaces and transmission control, ideally Dual Clutch / Automated Manual Transmissions, or electrified axles.

This role combines technical leadership, hands-on engineering, as well as interest toward managing technical resource, working with customers, and other engineering disciplines for best technical and commercial decisions. You will manage one or multiple projects for Dana customers, and act as a key technical authority throughout the V-cycle, from requirements elicitation to production sign-off. You might also manage other technical personnel within Dana’s global software and control team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
