Lead Platform Engineer London or remote (UK) Permanent, full-time Competitive salary + equity
A fast-growing AI product business is building an automation platform used by UK service-led organisations to run time-critical operational workflows. The product integrates into existing systems (including CRM-style platforms) and uses AI-driven workflows and a voice interface to handle inbound enquiries and trigger actions across the operation. They’re hiring a Lead Platform Engineer to work directly with the Head of Engineering and take real ownership across the platform. This is a hands-on role for someone who sets the technical bar, builds the hardest parts of the system, and helps a small team ship reliably.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
