Job Description
We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Lead Engineer – Mechanical Design – Semiconductor in Singapore. Our client is a reputed organization in the Semiconductor sector seeking skilled and motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below, apply early as positions are limited.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design activities from concept through implementation.
- Analyze customer requirements and convert them into engineering designs.
- Develop mechanical components and assemblies for semiconductor equipment.
- Coordinate design reviews with customer engineering teams.
- Collaborate with supplier engineers during detailed design and implementation.
- Manage engineering change requests and design rework activities.
- Perform design verification, testing, and system integration.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and engineering standards.

Required Skills
- Mechanical Design – Design and development of precision mechanical systems.
- Requirements Engineering – Convert customer requirements into engineering solutions.
- Design Validation & Testing – Execute testing and verify design performance.
- Project Coordination – Coordinate with customers and suppliers throughout project execution.
- Semiconductor Equipment Engineering – Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and mechanical assemblies.

Preferred Skills
- CAD software (Creo/SolidWorks/NX)
- GD&T and DFMEA knowledge
- PLM/PDM systems exposure
Work Experience Requirements
Experience was not specified in the posting. Typical: 8–12 years of mechanical design experience in semiconductor equipment, automation, or precision engineering environments, including experience leading customer-facing engineering projects.
Education
- Minimum: Typical – Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Preferred: Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Additional Certifications
- CAD/CAE or Project Management certifications (preferred)
