Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Lead Engineer – Mechanical Design – Semiconductor in Singapore. Our client is a reputed organization in the Semiconductor sector seeking skilled and motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below, apply early as positions are limited.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design activities from concept through implementation.
  • Analyze customer requirements and convert them into engineering designs.
  • Develop mechanical components and assemblies for semiconductor equipment.
  • Coordinate design reviews with customer engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with supplier engineers during detailed design and implementation.
  • Manage engineering change requests and design rework activities.
  • Perform design verification, testing, and system integration.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and engineering standards.

Required Skills

  • Mechanical Design – Design and development of precision mechanical systems.
  • Requirements Engineering – Convert customer requirements into engineering solutions.

Work Experience Requirements

Experience was not specified in the posting. Typical: 8–12 years of mechanical design experience in semiconductor equipment, automation, or precision engineering environments, including experience leading customer-facing engineering projects.

Education

  • Minimum: Typical – Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Additional Certifications

  • CAD/CAE or Project Management certifications (preferred)
