Job Title
Lead Enterprise Architect
Purpose of the role

This Architect Role Carries Two Primary Areas Of Responsibility
Minimum Experience – 14 Years
Location – Bangalore or Pune
Drive Technical Design for the Hospitality Transformation
You will design and guide key technical initiatives that support Amadeus Hospitality’s evolution from a product‑centric portfolio to a customer‑centric solutions portfolio built on the Hospitality Platform and the Amadeus Open Platform.
Core Initiatives May Include
- Cross–business capability data and event sharing
- Data model productization and standardization
- End‑to‑end observability across platforms and services
- User analytics and behavioural insights
- Third‑party data distribution, integration, and connectivity models
- Hospitality Platform Knowledge Base Stewardship
You Will Manage And Contribute To a Comprehensive Knowledge Base That Documents Both The Current And Future State Of The Hospitality Platform. This Body Of Knowledge Will Encompass
- Product and platform vision
- Technical and non‑functional requirements
- Architecture governance frameworks
- Solution designs and reference architectures
- Implementation patterns and operational guidelines
This responsibility includes partnering closely with R&D, Operations, and Product Management to define best practices and ensure broad adoption. You will also lead the dissemination of this knowledge across Hospitality and the wider Amadeus community to strengthen alignment and architectural cohesion.
Main Responsibilities
Lead Cross‑Functional Technical Initiatives
- Partner with Product vertical teams to drive end‑to‑end technical initiatives—from concept through approval.
- Lead requirements gathering and define high‑level architecture and solution designs that align with platform strategy and business goals.
- Develop Cost of Delivery projections to support planning, prioritization, and investment decisions.
- Build compelling business cases, define roadmaps, and present proposals to sponsors and executive stakeholders.

Collaborate with Architecture and Program Teams to Support Cloud Governance
- Shape and refine the strategic vision for a cloud‑based platform ecosystem, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and long‑term technology direction.
- Define, govern, and monitor non‑functional requirement (NFR) strategies—such as reliability, performance, security, scalability, and cost efficiency—along with corresponding compliance KPIs and reporting mechanisms.
- Develop and enforce cloud platform compliance strategies, including the adoption and governance of standardized cloud blueprinting (e.g., Azure blueprints, landing zones, guardrails, and policy frameworks).
- Lead and coordinate requirements definition and ongoing management for cloud platform services delivered by external partners or shared enterprise platform teams.
Knowledge Base Governance & Adoption
- Track and report on knowledge‑base adoption and compliance KPIs at both the knowledge‑stream level and across product and business units. This includes managing deliverables and coordinating closely with knowledge‑stream leads to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment.
- Lead the socialization, communication, and adoption of the knowledge base across Hospitality business units and communities, as well as within broader Amadeus stakeholder groups, ensuring consistent understanding and application of platform standards and best practices.

Research / Investigation
- Conduct studies and develop recommendations to enhance self‑service learning capabilities across knowledge streams, including development and operational documentation such as how‑to guides and troubleshooting resources
Technical Rationalization
- Support technical rationalization efforts to align merger‑ and acquisition‑related solutions with the Open Platform and Amadeus standard architectural blueprints. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting corporate programs such as State of Tech, Tech Debt, Tech Pressure, and Stability to ensure consistency, modernization, and architectural integrity across integrated solutions.
- Driving the adoption of FinOps best practices from greenfield environments through to production, ensuring cost awareness, efficiency, and operational optimization throughout the lifecycle.
