Lead Enterprise Architect

What you’ll be doing: You’ll lead the alignment of IT strategies with business, sector and group objectives, whilst both creating and managing a single roadmap across IT and OT capabilities. This will be to help maximise the efforts and value from investment out of the project delivery whilst identifying and managing cross Product Group dependencies across Submarines, the wider sector and overall IT Group. You’ll develop and maintain a view of how “fit for purpose” Submarines business capabilities are, whilst guiding investment prioritisation based on a holistic understanding of business needs. In addition, you’ll champion high standards in user interaction, usability and accessibility across systems, products and services. Core duties: You'll hold demonstrable experience within an IT Function as a highly experienced Enterprise Architect You will need to have gained an expert level of experience in supporting strategy definition and architectural road mapping of key projects Be able to balance the requirements of proposals with the broader needs of the organisation You will need to be able to promote a learning and growth culture in the Architecture Discipline You will need prior experience gained and the ability going forward to identify and advocate for the adoption of new technologies and digital services The Enterprise Strategy and Planning Team: This is an exciting time to join us where as a team, we are leading the Architecture Office Strategy, delivering the overarching integrated architecture assurance of change across our estate.
