Lead Finance Analyst
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Lead Finance Analyst to join a Finance Shared Services team in a newly created position focused on strengthening the quality, consistency, and impact of financial reporting across the business.
This role is responsible for overseeing scheduled financial reporting, driving continuous improvements, developing insightful dashboards and reporting solutions, and leading a team of Finance Analysts to support informed business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of financial and KPI reporting.
- Oversee the reporting schedule, ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality outputs.
- Develop dashboards, reporting frameworks, and analytical tools that provide meaningful business insight.
- Own and deliver the continuous improvement roadmap, driving efficiencies and improving data quality.
- Coach, mentor, and develop a team of Finance Analysts.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes, reduce manual effort, and improve reporting accuracy.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure reporting continues to meet evolving business needs.
- Produce regular and ad hoc financial reports and analysis for senior leadership.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and present complex financial information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Minimum of 3 years' people management experience.
- Demonstrated success delivering reporting and process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach within a fast-paced environment.
