Please note that this role is based in Saudi Arabia on a permanent, residential basis. Job Req ID: 17418

Description: Aramco energizes the world economy. Aramco occupies a unique position in the global energy industry. We are the world's largest producer of hydrocarbons (oil and gas), with the lowest upstream carbon intensity of any major producer.

With our significant investment in technology and infrastructure, we strive to maximize the value of the energy we produce for the world along with a commitment to enhance Aramco’s value to society.

Headquartered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and with offices around the world, we combine market discipline with a generations’ spanning view of the future, born of our nine decades experience as responsible stewards of the Kingdom’s vast hydrocarbon resources. This responsibility has driven us to deliver significant societal and economic benefits to not just the Kingdom, but also to a vast number of communities, economies, and countries that rely on the vital and reliable energy that we supply.

We are one of the most profitable companies in the world, as well as amongst the top five global companies by market capitalization.

Overview We are seeking a Lead Financial Reporting & Performance Analyst with strong accounting fundamentals, deep SAP and financial systems expertise, and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful performance insights to work for the Downstream Finance, Planning & Permanence Management Department.

The Downstream Finance, Planning & Performance Management Department (DSP&PMD) is responsible for Downstream planning, performance reporting and business accountability, turning financial, operational and market intelligence data into action-oriented insights. Partners closely with the business to influence decisions, identify performance opportunities, and drive timely corrective actions while continuously improving planning and report processes. Your primary role is to ensure the integrity, quality, and relevance of Downstream financial reporting while proactively anticipating how business, operational, and market changes will impact financial statements, cash flow, and value-based metrics.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
