Lead Full Stack Engineer (AI/Agentic)
You're the kind of engineer who sees a legacy codebase as a problem worth solving. You're comfortable across the full stack, you take agentic engineering seriously, and you want to influence technical direction rather than just execute against it. If that's you, keep reading.
You'll be embedded into the product team of one of the UK's leading procurement platforms as your first project here. The platform connects organisations managing construction projects with the suppliers who deliver them. It's high-traffic, mid-transformation, and the architectural decisions that will define its next five years are still being made.
The stack today is PHP/Laravel. That's where you'll start, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. The direction of travel is Python and a more modern, AI-native architecture. You'll be part of shaping how it gets there.
To do this well, you'll need to be someone who:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Is comfortable working across PHP/Laravel and Python in commercial, production environments Has strong experience at Lead or Senior Full Stack level Has shipped LLM or agentic tooling into real systems, not just experimented with it Knows AWS and has built scalable, cloud-native APIs before Has enough front end range to work with React.js or Laravel Nova when needed
Here's What You Get In Return.
You'll be in the room when the big architectural decisions are made, not handed them after the fact. Your technical judgment will carry real weight here.
You'll also be asked to do more than write code. The limit on agentic engineering isn't what you can produce, it's your ability to communicate clearly, spot problems early and define what good looks like. If that's already how you work, you'll find this role fits the way you think.
Working here means you're building agentic engineering experience across multiple clients and contexts, not just one. That's a different kind of career development than most roles can offer.
