Join TPXimpact's engineering leadership layer to drive high-profile public sector digital transformation projects. You will own technical direction, lead multidisciplinary squads, and maintain high standards across Java and Spring Boot architectures. This role balances hands-on development with mentorship, ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure software that impacts millions of lives across the UK.

What You Will Do
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex microservices systems while ensuring high standards of quality, security, and scalability.
- Mentor and line-manage a team of engineers, fostering professional growth through constructive code reviews and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical specifications and smooth deliveries.
The ideal candidate
- Extensive hands-on experience in full-stack engineering with deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture patterns.
- A true polyglot professional comfortable working across Python and JavaScript, with a strong commitment to TDD and automated testing.
- Proven track record of leading engineering teams or multidisciplinary projects, ideally within a consultancy, agency, or public sector environment.
