Job Description
At the heart of our thriving marketing team, the Lead Generation Executive will drive business expansion by identifying and nurturing new opportunities across the UK midmarket. You'll play a key role in generating qualified leads and building relationships that support our ambitious growth goals. Working within a fast-paced, award-winning tech business, you'll help fuel the sales pipeline and deliver real commercial impact.
This role is ideal for someone who’s proactive, people-focused, and motivated by results. Job Requirements
Operational Management
- Achieve Targets: Ensure the achievement of campaigns, face-to-face appointments, webinars, and event attendees, aligning with the overall sales and marketing team targets.
- Business Pipeline: Build and manage a robust business pipeline, delivering accurate qualified meetings forecasting to line managers. Proactively seek opportunities to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
- Customer Service: Embody outstanding customer service by tactfully challenging prospect assumptions, generating referred business through high service levels, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

- Lead Qualification: Utilise business development skills to engage net new accounts, qualifying leads effectively to provide commercially suitable opportunities for the Sales Team.
- Effective Communication: Communicate complex solutions, digital, creative services, and solutions effectively to key decision-makers in the target market. Collaborate with Marketing to follow up on leads and provide input for future campaigns.
- CRM Management: Manage CRM to ensure accurate qualification and targeting of companies. Ensure meetings booked are not cancelled, using marketing and value-add strategies.
- Clear Communication: Adapt communication style to engage with individuals from Junior to CEO levels, ensuring clarity on core offerings and services.
Coordinate Marketing Efforts to Boost Brand Awareness
- Ensure the Zenzero brand message is communicated in a strong and consistent way.
- Promote a positive and professional environment in the sales and marketing teams to staff, internal, external, corporate, and commercial customers.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained throughout all aspects of the operational function.
- Promote a positive and professional image of the Sales & Marketing team at all times.
Resource Management
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a close-knit culture, seeking help from the team and line manager when needed.

- Ensure all processes and procedures are compliant with client SLAs and ISO27001 and ISO9001.
- Be adept in all key systems in use within the Sales and Marketing teams to monitor quality, compliance, and performance.
- Learn new systems and services, as required, and share knowledge with the wider team.
- Assist the senior management team in identifying business opportunities to develop and enhance the service to clients.
