Lead Generation Executive
Location: Wetherby, West Yorkshire
Job Type: Full-time | Office-based
About the Role
As part of our continued growth strategy, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious Lead Generation Executive to join our team in Wetherby.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in sales and business development. No previous experience is required — we are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and develop.
The role will focus on proactively identifying new business opportunities, researching potential clients, and creating a consistent pipeline of qualified leads for our Sales team.
You will be responsible for finding potential customers, identifying key decision-makers, making initial contact, and creating opportunities through platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, company websites, and other online resources.
Once opportunities have been identified and qualified, you will hand them over to the Sales team, allowing them to focus on building relationships and progressing opportunities through the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research and identify potential clients, agencies, and end users using LinkedIn, job boards, company websites, and other online resources.
- Build targeted prospect lists and identify relevant decision-makers.
- Conduct outbound activity through email, LinkedIn, and telephone calls.
- Introduce the company and create initial engagement with prospective customers.
- Follow up on outreach activity to maximise opportunities.
- Qualify potential opportunities before passing them to the Sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of all activity and prospect information within the CRM system.
- Work closely with the Sales team to improve lead quality and conversion.

Market Research & Business Development Support
- Identify new opportunities within target markets and industries.
- Research companies, sectors, and potential customer requirements.
- Provide the Sales team with accurate prospect information and insights.
- Keep CRM records updated with all activity and communication.
- Support the wider commercial team with business development activity.
What We’re Looking For
No previous experience is required — full training will be provided.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Self-motivated, driven, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable speaking with new people and building relationships.
- Confident making outbound calls and starting conversations.
- Persistent and able to follow up opportunities.
- Organised with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable using online platforms such as LinkedIn and researching information online.
- Positive, resilient, and willing to take ownership of their workload.
- Interested in developing a career in sales and business development.

Desirable (Not Essential)
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, recruitment, hospitality, retail, or another customer-facing environment.
- Experience working towards targets or objectives.
- Experience using CRM systems.
