Lead Generation Specialist

Linney is a world-class, multichannel marketing services business. We are looking to appoint a Lead Generation Specialist who is highly driven and commercially minded to join our sales team and spearhead new opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity to help grow new business across a diverse range of services in our leading multichannel marketing business. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in connecting organisations with solutions that help them attract customers, improve performance, streamline operations and achieve sustainable growth across multiple disciplines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Building a high-quality pipeline of opportunities
  • Engaging decision-makers across multiple sectors
  • Working closely with our sales team and SMEs to identify and generate prospects

We are looking for someone who can proactively identify, engage, and qualify organisations that would benefit from our broad range of marketing, creative, digital, and operational services. They will be highly driven and ambitious, curious and commercially minded, confident, resilient and data-focused. Comfortable with challenging prospects and asking insightful questions, they will need to be personable and relationship-oriented.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Executing lead generation strategies to identify new business opportunities across a range of marketing, digital, creative and operational service areas
  • Targeting prospective clients through phone, email, LinkedIn and other channels
  • Identifying key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Building a healthy sales pipeline
  • Analysing data to improve conversion rates
  • Working closely with sales and subject matter experts
  • Ensuring a seamless handover of qualified opportunities
  • Staying up to date with the latest relevant developments
  • Exceeding agreed monthly targets

Essential skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in lead generation, business development or outbound sales
  • Strong understanding of marketing, digital, ecommerce or business service environments
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence to engage with decision-makers
  • Excellent CRM skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Experience generating opportunities for marketing, creative, digital, and ecommerce services
  • Understanding of ecommerce platforms, online retail and customer acquisition strategies
  • Knowledge of SEO, GEO and digital marketing techniques
  • Experience working with 3PL, fulfilment, logistics or operational service providers
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce or similar
  • Experience using LinkedIn and lead generation tools
