Senior Visual Designer (UK-Focused Visual Storytelling) – BJAK

What You’ll Do
Lead the look and visual execution of a global-first brand, ensuring UK-focused assets stand out across all digital touchpoints.
1) Visual Creation & Execution
- Craft bold, high-converting visual assets for marketing, social media, web, and digital ads (static + motion)
- Translate innovative creative briefs into performant, benefit-driven designs
- Produce short-form motion content, static ads, and ui/ux visuals under tight deadlines
- Support UK product marketing with clear, compelling visual storytelling
2) Collaboration & Optimization
- Partner closely with content, video, and performance marketing teams to align visuals with campaigns
- Data-driven iteration: Analyse KPIs to refine and scale successful visuals
- Balance pixel-perfect execution with scalable brand consistency
- Ensure visual excellence across all global and UK-specific channels

3) Tools, Systems & Innovation
- Leverage AI tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway) to streamline ideation and production pipelines
- Contribute to maintaining UK brand templates, motifs, and visual systems
- Stay ahead of UK design/motion trends by experimenting with new techniques
- Champion system-level thinking within your team

What You Bring
- 5+ years in graphic design, motion graphics, or digital-first creative roles
- Portfolio showcasing strong digital design, visual storytelling, and execution expertise
- Technical Knowledge
- Proficient in: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign), Figma, After Effects, Premiere Pro
- Familiarity with Lottie/After Effects motion workflows
- AI tools interest/curiosity (Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway)
- Sharp eye for layout, composition, and type treatment
- Speed under pressure + ability to deliver high-quality assets quickly
- Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with short-form ads, social video, or performance creative production
- Exposure to high-growth startup environments or performance-driven marketing
- Basic sound design or VFX skills (bonus)
- Knowledge of brand templates, styleguides, or CI system implementations
