Lead Hardware Engineer
Lead Hardware Engineer – Advanced Vision & Perception Systems
About the Role
A Lead Hardware Engineer is required to join a growing technology company developing advanced vision and perception systems. This technical leader will take ownership of electronic system architecture and hardware delivery across complex hardware platforms, with responsibility spanning from concept to validated product.
The role offers internationally leadership with hands-on engagement, including design authority, technical mentorship, and full hardware lifecycle management.
Responsibilities
- Own hardware architecture, schematic design, and PCB development for vision and sensing systems
- Lead electronics development across:
- Prototypes
- Verification
- Production readiness
- Collaborate closely with software, firmware, and mechanical teams to deliver full system integration
- Support high-speed digital interfaces, power systems, and sensor integration
- Drive design reviews, technical decision-making, and hardware roadmap planning
- Mentor junior engineers while staying hands-on with design and validation

Requirements
- Strong background in electronic hardware design for complex embedded or vision systems
- Proven experience with:
- Schematic capture
- PCB layout
- Board-level bring-up
- In-depth understanding of:
- High-speed digital systems
- Mixed-signal design
- Power electronics
- Exceptional academic credentials, typically a strong degree from a leading university in:
- Electronic Engineering
- Or a related disciplin
- Ability to function as a technical authority within a small, fast-moving team and drive results effectively
