London (Hybrid, 3 days in office) | £80,000 - £100,000 + Benefits
We're partnering with a well-established organisation that's continuing to invest in its Technology and Information Security capability.
As the business continues to strengthen its security posture, they're looking for a hands-on Information Security & GRC Specialist to play a key role in developing and maturing their Information Security function.
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative technology team where you'll take ownership of Governance, Risk & Compliance activities, helping to build and continually improve the organisation's security maturity while working closely with stakeholders across Technology and the wider business.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who has successfully led, or played a significant role in, delivering an ISO 27001 certification programme.
You'll own and continually improve the Information Security Management System (ISMS), working closely with Technology, Infrastructure, Engineering and business stakeholders to embed security into projects, operational processes and supplier relationships.
You'll be responsible for identifying security gaps, driving remediation activities, coordinating internal and external audits, managing governance processes and ensuring the business continues to meet evolving regulatory and compliance requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
