Location: Highlands or Manchester (Fully Onsite)
Contract: 6 months initially (potential extension)
Rate: £600 per day (Inside IR35)
Clearance: Active SC Clearance required
We are supporting a leading technology organisation in the search for an experienced Lead Infrastructure Architect to join a large-scale Managed Services environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Architect who can take ownership of end-to-end architecture across complex technology landscapes, providing strategic direction, governance, and technical leadership within a major transformation programme.
The successful candidate will operate as the key architectural authority, ensuring service integrity, alignment to business objectives, and delivery against contractual commitments.

- Owning and governing the end-to-end architecture for a complex Managed Services environment.
- Providing architectural leadership across infrastructure, platforms, and technology services.
- Defining technology roadmaps, future-state architectures, and strategic direction.
- Ensuring technical solutions align with standards, governance frameworks, and client requirements.
- Acting as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders.
- Managing relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and customer stakeholders.
- Supporting technical decision-making and ensuring quality across service delivery.
- Providing guidance and leadership to Domain Architects and Engineering teams.
Essential Skills & Experience
You will have:
- Proven experience operating as a Lead Architect / Infrastructure Architect within large, complex enterprise environments.
- Strong background in Managed Services architecture and service delivery models.
- Demonstrable experience owning and governing end-to-end technology architecture.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, enterprise architecture principles, and technology strategy.
- Experience developing architecture roadmaps and future-state designs.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at senior levels.
- Experience working within contractual and commercial environments.

Active MOD SC Clearance
