Lead Integrations Engineer

Location: Manchester (Hybrid – 3 Days Per Week) Salary: £75,000 + Benefits

We're supporting a major technology transformation programme and are looking for a Lead Integrations Engineer to join a growing technology team responsible for modernising and scaling a cloud-native integration platform.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys remaining close to the technology whilst mentoring engineers, setting technical standards and delivering complex integration solutions.

You'll play a key role in defining integration architecture, leading engineering best practice and helping migrate a legacy integration estate onto a modern Azure platform.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading a small team of Integration Engineers.
  • Designing and building complex Azure integrations.
  • Setting engineering standards, patterns and best practices.
  • Owning API and integration architecture across multiple enterprise systems.
  • Supporting the migration of legacy integration platforms to Azure.
  • Building APIs using Azure API Management (APIM).
  • Developing event-driven solutions using:
    • Azure Service Bus
    • Azure Logic Apps
    • Azure Function Apps
  • Implementing monitoring, observability and operational support processes.
  • Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Acting as a senior technical escalation point for integration-related issues.
  • Working closely with engineering, architecture and business stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
