Lead IT Internal Auditor

Digital Infrastructure company

Hybrid - Home/London office (once a week)
Minimal overseas travel
Excellent remuneration package

Astrum Search are delighted to be working with an international telecommunications and technology business to recruit a Lead IT Internal Auditor based in their London office.

You will be part of a highly regarded and sociable team that has a fantastic reputation for delivering value to the organisation. The function operates a risk-based approach and the audit plan is very varied, encompassing financial process reviews as well as more in-depth operational and project audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver IT audit assignments, participating in all stages of the audit from planning, executing, reporting and follow up
  • Understand and communicate the impact of audit findings to stakeholders, detailing root cause and associated risks
  • Provide value add recommendations to the business to improve controls and processes
  • Engage with stakeholders to build trust, credibility, and long-lasting working relationships
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the IT Audit function (i.e. data analytics and automation).

Skills & Experience:

  • CISA or working towards CISA
  • Prior IT internal or external audit experience gained in an international business or leading professional services firm
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of risk and controls
  • IT SOX experience highly desirable
  • Pro-active approach to work and able to demonstrate initiative
  • Happy with flexible and remote working.
