About the Role
As Lead Knowledge Lawyer – Family, you will define and deliver the UK Family Practice Area strategy, aligning it with broader business and product objectives. You will lead a team of Knowledge Lawyers, shaping innovative, high-quality legal content and driving customer engagement and commercial success across Lexis+ and Lexis+ Protégé.

Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the UK Family Practice Area strategy aligned to business objectives
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of Knowledge Lawyers
- Ensure practical guidance content is market-leading, high quality, innovative, and differentiated from competitors
- Create, maintain, and develop Family law content, including practice notes, precedents, checklists, and flowcharts
- Contribute to current awareness services through legal updates, case analysis, and commentary
- Drive customer engagement and usage of Lexis+ and Lexis+ Protégé practical guidance content
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, and other Practice Area Leads to identify growth opportunities and support go-to-market strategies
- Leverage AI, analytics, and legal technology to enhance products and deliver customer value
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with substantial post-qualification experience in Family law in England and Wales
- Strong technical expertise and practical legal experience
- Proven leadership and people management experience with a track record of developing teams
- Strong strategic planning, stakeholder management, and business development skills
- Commercial awareness, including experience with budgeting and financial management
- Excellent communication, presentation, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with legal technology, digital tools, AI, and analytics
- Analytical, highly organised, and able to explain complex legal concepts clearly
