We are looking for a Lead Lab Orchestration who is innovative, collaborative, and strategic to join us in our Patient Solutions team, based at our Research site in Slough, UK (Windlesham 2027), Braine l’Alleud, Belgium or Boston, US.
About the role
You will drive the design and implementation of scalable, efficient, and reusable experimental workflows across laboratory environments. You will partner with scientific leads to solve real lab challenges, enabling analytics-ready data, automation, and digital connectivity across Biology, Chemistry, and Antibody functions. This role plays a key part in accelerating research by embedding standardised, integrated, and future-ready lab orchestration solutions.
Who you’ll work with
You will work closely with cross-functional scientific teams across Biology, Chemistry, and Antibody research, as well as digital, data, and automation experts. You will collaborate with platform providers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver integrated laboratory solutions that enhance efficiency, connectivity, and data quality across the organisation.
What you’ll do
- Build strong partnerships with scientific leaders to design solutions addressing real laboratory challenges
- Design scalable, reusable experimental workflows enabling analytics-ready lab data from the outset
- Expand and optimise automation initiatives across Chemistry, Biology, and Antibody platforms
- Improve instrument connectivity and automate routine processes to reduce experimental cycle times
- Lead selection and implementation of lab orchestration and digital platforms across functions
- Integrate laboratory instruments and build pipelines to enrich and connect experimental data

Interested?
For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills:
- Extensive experience in lab automation, orchestration, and digital data management
- Strong understanding of Biology, Chemistry, and Antibody research workflows
- Proven experience integrating laboratory instruments with scalable digital systems
- Experience leading ELN, LIMS, or lab platform selection and implementation
- Strong stakeholder engagement and project management capabilities
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary and global teams
