Lead Marketing Analyst - Remote, United Kingdom

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Marketing Analyst based in the United Kingdom.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead marketing analytics initiatives within a global, data-driven organization operating at scale.

You will play a key role in transforming complex marketing data into strategic insights that drive business growth and optimize campaign performance.

The role combines advanced analytics, experimentation, predictive modeling, and performance measurement to support informed decision-making.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve marketing efficiency, automate reporting, and develop scalable analytical frameworks.

This position offers significant ownership over analytics processes while influencing strategic marketing initiatives across multiple markets.

You will thrive in a remote-first, international environment that values innovation, continuous learning, and analytical excellence.

Accountabilities

  • You will be responsible for leading marketing analytics initiatives, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering actionable insights that improve marketing performance and business outcomes. Your work will support strategic decision-making through advanced analysis, experimentation, and predictive modeling.
  • Own marketing analytics processes, reporting frameworks, dashboards, and data quality standards.
  • Monitor key marketing and business performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and provide data-driven recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Design, prioritize, and evaluate A/B tests and marketing experiments across acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve predictive models for attribution, forecasting, customer segmentation, and budget allocation.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize analytical processes through automation and continuous improvement.
  • Enhance marketing measurement methodologies and establish best practices for reporting and analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical solutions that support strategic objectives.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing analytics professional with strong technical skills, a deep understanding of statistical methodologies, and the ability to transform data into actionable business insights.

  • Higher education in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, or another quantitative discipline.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
  • Advanced Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables and complex data manipulation.
  • Solid understanding of statistics, experimental design, and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Proven experience in marketing analytics and predictive modeling.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a business-oriented mindset.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice-to-have Qualifications

  • Experience using Python or R for statistical analysis and data modeling.
  • Experience building automated reporting systems and analytics workflows.
  • Knowledge of marketing experimentation frameworks and incrementality measurement.
  • Experience working with attribution models, paid acquisition channels, and digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads or Meta Ads.
