Lead.NET Developer - Hybrid - Up to £700/day Outside IR35 | C# | Azure | Event Driven Systems | Kafka | CosmosDB
We have a unique opportunity for a Lead.NET Developer to join a payments company.
About the Role
As the Lead.NET/Full Stack Developer, you’ll play a key role in shaping and scaling a high-throughput payments platform as the business enters its next phase of growth. This includes launching new products, enabling new partner integrations, and expanding a platform that already powers multiple live financial services products used globally.
You’ll be building on top of a modern, cloud-native platform built with.NET and Azure, designed around API-first architecture and event-driven microservices. The platform supports complex payment flows, partner integrations, and high-volume transaction processing.
This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll help drive engineering best practices, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor developers while remaining close to the code.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
