Lead Nightshift Manager
Senior Nightshift Manager – Store Leadership Role

Core Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of shift managers overnight, ensuring all replenishment tasks are completed to meet the following morning customer demand.
- Collaborate with the store leadership team to plan for key trading events and high-demand periods.
- Oversee people management, including:
- Pay and scheduling routines
- Training and coach development
- Employee relations—handling performance discussions, absence, and formal disciplinary processes.
- Take full accountability for store operations overnight, role-modelling leadership and driving efficiency and standards.
- Prioritise health and safety, ensuring all colleagues remain safe during shift operations.
Shift Pattern: Full-time, covering 4 night shifts (typically 22:00–08:00), with a £4,500 nightshift premium added to base salary.

Key Requirements
Essential Criteria
✔ Team leadership experience – Developed high-performing teams in fast-moving, retail or customer-facing environments. ✔ Customer excellence track record – Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional experiences and operational efficiency under pressure. ✔ KPI-driven mindset – Proven success in improving performance metrics (e.g., sales growth, stock availability, colleague engagement). ✔ Operational authority – Experience leading as senior presence, managing alone during store operating hours. ✔ People management expertise – Handled complex employee relations (performance, absence, conduct cases) with fairness and professionalism. ✔ Change leadership – Rolled out new processes or initiatives, embedding them effectively and gaining team buy-in.
Desirable (But a plus!)
🔹 Nightshift experience in high-volume retail/operations – Adapted to physical/mental demands while fostering team cohesion.
