An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior nurse to take on the role of Lead Haematology Nurse cross-site at Bedford and Luton and Dunstable Hospitals.
The post holder will be a clinical expert in haematology, a forward-thinking and supportive leader, with a vision for integration of the nurse-led service.
They will work closely across disciplines, to support with the development and achievement of the haematology service strategy.
Responsibilities
- Provision of visible leadership, guidance, support, and direction to staff within haematology
- Clinical credible with significant experience in all areas of haematology, malignant and non-malignant, and carry out clinical responsibilities as able within the confines of their role
- Work in partnership with the clinical director, general manager, and head of nursing to deliver the objectives of the haematology department
