Lead OT Cybersecurity Solutions Architect

Lead OT Cybersecurity Solutions Architect

At FPC Global, we are the world's leading digital building experts. We offer full-service integrated technology consultancy and professional services to the built environment, partnering with global organisations to improve asset performance, security, operational efficiency, sustainability outcomes, and digital maturity across complex portfolios.

About the Role

As Lead OT Cybersecurity Solutions Architect, you will be the global technical authority at FPC Digital, blending strategy with hands-on delivery in a high-impact hybrid role reporting directly to the Managing Director with a dotted line to the CTO (Matrix Structure).

In an era where intelligent buildings and data centres lack traditional "air-gaps", you will:

  • Design resilient, secure-by-design architectures for OT, BMS (Building Management Systems), and IoT ecosystems across global Corporate Real Estate and Hyperscale Data Centres.
  • Lead the definition of next-generation OT security services.
  • Execute the strategy for our Centre of Excellence (CoE)-based OT SOC.

You will operate across consulting and delivery, embedding cybersecurity into BMS and Smart Building processes from design through operations. Integrated into the global Technology & Innovation function, you will:

  • Lead the Cybersecurity SteerCo within the Technical Design Authority (TDA).
  • Ensure field insights shape global standards, partner strategies, and innovation.
  • Mentor a specialised OT Cybersecurity team while enhancing auditing standards and technical governance globally.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Design, Smart Building Integration & Delivery

  • Secure-by-Design Architectures: Define, design, and execute end-to-end technical security architectures for complex OT, BMS, and IoT ecosystems.
  • Embedded Cybersecurity: Champion security as a primary design criterion in BMS and Smart Building infrastructure.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align strategic advice with practical field engineering and commissioning.
  • Standards Enforcement: Champion IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, and CIS Controls, translating compliance into practical engineering solutions.
  • Zero Trust & Segmentation: Design and deploy network micro-segmentation, IAM, and zero-trust policies for legacy and modern OT systems.

2. Technical Design Authority (TDA) & Innovation Leadership

  • Vertical Ownership: Lead the Cybersecurity SteerCo, collaborating directly with the CTO’s office on global technical direction.
  • Chairing Cybersecurity SteerCo: Coordinate SMEs across engineering, software, and operations to lead cybersecurity-driven innovation.
  • Lab Environment & Tool Assessment: Curate and evaluate next-gen security tools in FPC’s Digital Lab to maintain technology agnosticism.
  • Expert-Led Innovation: Drive scalable, commercial offerings by leveraging deep domain expertise.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
