Creative Lead - Homeware Packaging Designer
We’re looking for an experienced Creative Lead - Homeware packaging designer to lead the creative direction across B&M’s Home categories, ensuring all packaging and visual output delivers a consistent, trend-led and commercially relevant customer experience.
You’ll be responsible for driving creative vision across multiple Home departments, translating emerging trends into compelling packaging and customer-facing design, while supporting and mentoring a team of designers. Working closely with Buying, Packaging, Product Development and Marketing teams, you'll help bring cohesive seasonal stories to life and ensure creative excellence across every touchpoint.
This is an office-based role from our Support Centre, Speke Liverpool (L24).
In This Role You Will Be Responsible For
- Identifying and interpreting emerging trends, translating them into commercially relevant packaging and creative direction.
- Developing cohesive seasonal and trend-led stories across multiple Home categories. Ensuring all creative output aligns with brand standards and customer expectations.
- Supporting and mentoring designers across the Home departments, providing clear creative feedback and direction.
- Encouraging collaboration and consistency across categories and creative outputs.
- Working closely with Buying, Packaging, Product Development and Marketing teams to ensure creative solutions meet commercial objectives.
- Overseeing packaging direction across Home categories to ensure consistency in branding, layouts, typography and messaging.
- Balancing creativity with commercial awareness to deliver impactful yet practical design solutions.

The Skills & Experience You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in a Creative Lead, Senior Designer, Design Manager or similar creative leadership role.
- Skilled & experienced driving creative vision and trend-led design across multiple product categories.
- Strong understanding of packaging design, branding, typography and visual storytelling.
- Experience mentoring, coaching and developing creative teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working cross-functionally across Buying, Marketing, Packaging and Product Development teams.
- You will be super organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment., with excellent communication, presentation and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software.
