About the Role

The successful applicant would join an experienced team of specialist pharmacy staff who provide a comprehensive service to oncology, haemato-oncology, and surgical oncology patients.

The base for much of the work will be the Royal Surrey Cancer Centre. You would liaise with the team in the dispensary (RSCH Pharmacy Ltd) and the aseptic unit but this role does not include direct responsibility in these areas.

  • Responsible for the supervision, education, and training of pharmacy staff in the inpatient facilities at Royal Surrey Cancer Centre.
  • Active member of the Oncology Pharmacy Team delivering a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to oncology, haematology-oncology, and palliative care patients.
  • Work as a highly specialist practitioner in accordance with objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and validation of protocols and electronic proforma prescriptions for oncology chemotherapy and supportive care regimens.
  • Support the pharmacy set-up of oncology clinical trials.
  • Support the provision of a Trust Wide Medicines Management service.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
