About The Role
PD&MS Group are now looking for a Lead Piping Designer to join our team on a full-time, long-term contract or employee basis. This role can be based in our Aberdeen or Glasgow office on a flexible hybrid working model, where 2 days per week can be worked remotely.
Candidates must have previous Brownfield EPC experience to be considered.

We have an exciting opportunity working within both new and existing projects, creating bespoke, safe and cost-effective engineering solutions for our clients within the energy sector.
If you are passionate about Design, have some energy industry experience, or have transferable skills, then we would love to hear from you.
Key duties:
- Aids the project in creating schedules, time assignment, and resource allocation
- Responsible for ensuring designs meet project requirements
- Provides input to project plans
- Identifies areas of concern during any project or study
- Produces cost-effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe, and add value
- Ability to address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaises with colleagues for the best solution
- Undertakes surveys, both onshore and offshore (not essential)

Key Requirements:
You should have:
- A HND in a relevant subject
- Previous experience in detail design and design checking, with an understanding of other disciplines
- High competency in the use of AutoDesk design products
