About the Opportunity
Arca Resourcing supports a growing specialist engineering business in the UK energy and infrastructure sector to appoint a Lead Planner – Primavera P6.
This opportunity is open to candidates across experience levels:
- Junior to senior planners
- Backgrounds in construction, manufacturing, engineering, rail, utilities, energy, transmission & distribution, or other project-based environments.
The Role
Reporting to: Head of Operations
The incumbent will support live project delivery and tendering activities, with key responsibilities including:

- Developing and maintaining project programmes.
- Updating programmes to reflect:
- Progress
- Risks
- Changes
- Supporting Project Managers with:
- Planning
- Reporting
- Recovery planning
- Assisting in identifying:
- Critical path activities
- Programme constraints
- Coordinating programme alignment across:
- Design
- Procurement
- Construction
- Supporting tender programme development for bids and proposals.
- Contributing to programme-linked financial forecasting and reporting.
About You
- Experience in a planner role.
- Exposure to project scheduling tools, including:
- Microsoft Project
- Primavera P6
- Understanding of project delivery in a project-based environment.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative.
