Confidential Search Senior Planner / Lead Planner Major Infrastructure & Energy Programmes Birmingham | Hybrid (2 Days Onsite) £75,000 - £95,000 DOE + Benefits Contractors Also Considered (Inside IR35)

We are supporting a leading engineering and programme consultancy in the appointment of Senior Planners and Lead Planners to support the delivery of major infrastructure and energy programmes for a nationally recognised client. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing programme delivery environment, working on large-scale, complex projects that are critical to the UK's future infrastructure and energy network. Operating within an integrated planning team, you will be responsible for developing, managing and assuring complex programmes across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities. You will work closely with project controls, programme leadership and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery across a portfolio of major capital investment schemes.

Responsibilities Develop and maintain integrated project and programme schedules. Undertake critical path analysis and programme assurance activities. Support programme governance, reporting and performance reviews. Identify programme risks, dependencies and opportunities. Work collaboratively across engineering, commercial, project controls and delivery teams. Support programme recovery planning and scenario modelling where required. Provide planning expertise across multiple projects and workstreams.

Experience Required Strong planning experience within major infrastructure environments. Experience supporting large-scale utility, power, transmission, energy or regulated asset programmes. Experience working within complex, multi-stakeholder project environments. Strong understanding of project controls, programme management and schedule risk. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

What's on Offer Opportunity to support a household-name client delivering nationally significant infrastructure programmes. Exposure to large, complex and long-term capital investment projects. Hybrid working with two days per week onsite in Birmingham. Permanent opportunities from Senior Planner through to Lead Planner level. Contractors considered at an equivalent level on an Inside IR35 basis.
