Lead Platform Engineer
Lead Platform Engineer | £230k + Equity | London
We're looking for an exceptional Lead Platform Engineer to join one of London's fastest-growing AI businesses at an exciting stage of its growth.
This is a senior, hands-on technical role where you'll take ownership of the platform that powers our clients’ products and customer environments. You'll play a key role in shaping the architecture, scalability, and reliability of our clients' cloud infrastructure, taking on a lead IC role in the team.

This is a rare opportunity to have a genuine impact on the technical direction of a category-defining AI company while working alongside a world-class engineering team.
The business is offering a highly competitive package, with a salary of up to £230,000 alongside a significant equity award, giving you the chance to share in the company’s long-term success as it continues to scale.
If you're passionate about cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, automation and solving complex engineering challenges, we'd love to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
