Function: Pricing & Events (Commercial)

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 dependant on skills and experiences + up to 20% bonus + health + up to 10% matched pension + bens

We have approximately 200,000 guests stay at our hotels each week.

Are you a commercially minded analyst who thrives on turning data into decisions that drive real business performance? At Whitbread, home of Premier Inn, we're looking for a Lead Pricing & Events Analyst to play a pivotal role in shaping the pricing strategy across our UK and Germany hotel estate.

This is far more than a reporting role. You will be at the heart of our commercial decision-making, using insight, analytics and market intelligence to optimise pricing, maximise occupancy and influence revenue performance across hundreds of hotels. You will also identify opportunities, challenge assumptions and help ensure our pricing strategies deliver the right outcomes for both our customers and the business.

Working as the senior specialist within the Pricing & Events team, you will take ownership of pricing governance, support major trading decisions and help steer priorities across a fast-paced commercial environment. While this isn't a people management position, you'll act as the deputy to the Pricing & Events Manager, providing guidance, coordinating workloads and helping the team deliver against key business priorities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
