About the Role

We’re looking for a Lead Price Comparison Data Analyst to join us for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to transform complex data from price comparison websites into clear, compelling insights and actionable stories, as well as leading on the development of our Growth-Led Customer Segmentation framework.

In this pivotal role, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams, across marketing, pricing, digital, product, and trading to uncover opportunities, enhance customer journeys, and fuel growth. Your work won’t just live in dashboard, you’ll shape strategy, influence direction, and make a tangible difference to performance.

You’ll be the vital link between data and decision-making, bringing stories to life through trends, patterns, and sharp analysis. Whether you’re engaging technical experts or non-technical stakeholders, you’ll make the complex simple, the data meaningful, and the insights impossible to ignore.

We’re big on flexible hybrid working. Our teams are based across Haywards Heath (West Sussex) and Salford Quays (Manchester). We primarily work from home but value collaboration, so we come together in person to keep ideas flowing, typically once or twice a quarter. Prefer being in the office more often? That works for us too.

Core Skills

  • Data Storytelling & Insight Generation: Ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives and actionable business insights.
  • Analytical Mindset & Problem Solving: Passion for analysing and transforming data to help solve real business problems.
  • Industry Price Comparison Expertise: Proven experience in data analysis or data storytelling with a focus on motor or home insurance price comparison data.
  • Data Tools: Experience in SQL, DataBricks, Python and Power BI is advantageous alongside strong capability in manipulating large datasets.
  • Stakeholder Management & Influencing: Ability to influence and support stakeholders, confidently managing expectations in a dynamic environment.
  • Communication & Documentation: Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to create clear, well-structured, and maintainable project documentation and analysis.
