Product Lead – Search, Browse & Agentic Commerce

Salt have partnered with a market-leading ecommerce retailer hiring a Product Lead to own its discovery experience. They're a high-growth retail business backed by two of Britain's best-known names in tech and retail. Their mission is simple: deliver joy in every shop, through unbeatable choice, brilliant service, and reassuringly good value.

They're looking for a Product Lead to shape how millions of customers find, choose, and buy online.

The role in a nutshell

You'll own the moment of discovery. From Search and Browse to Agentic AI, you'll make sure every touchpoint is intuitive, joyful, and moving us closer to their strategic vision.

Your domain spans Search, Browse, Shopping Tools, Promotions, and Agentic AI, and you'll be the primary bridge between deep technical capability on one side and real customer and commercial needs on the other. This is a role for someone who loves solving genuinely complex problems and proving impact through measurable product KPIs.

You'll be reporting into a brilliant Head of Product who promotes true autonomy, ownership, and impact for her teams while having a strong commercial connection to their customers and the performance of the business.

What They're Looking For

  • Previous experience in ecommerce or retail with experience driving consumer experience across the top of funnel.
  • Clear-headed and decisive – you're comfortable setting direction and picking the highest-impact bets even when things are messy and complex.
  • Led by the customer – you dig into what people actually need, drawing on both hard data and real human insight to design better experiences.
  • A persuasive communicator – you can bring people with you, manage stakeholders well, and keep things moving.
  • Genuinely accountable – you take ownership of tough problems and see them through, working as a true partner to the rest of the business.
