The Role
We're looking for an experienced Lead Product Manager to drive the delivery of our core products and help shape new product development. Working closely with the Chief Product Officer, you'll lead cross-functional execution, own end-to-end product delivery, and support a high-performing product team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on turning strategy into impactful outcomes.
Experience
- Demonstrable track record of shipping product consistently and at pace across multiple workstreams.
- Proven ability to scope and deliver new products from scratch, including discovery, stakeholder alignment, and delivery planning.
- Experience working across more than one tech stack or product surface simultaneously.
- Background in EdTech, SaaS, or a subscription-based platform business. Familiarity with the UK education sector preferred.

Skills and Competencies

Disciplined backlog management and strong requirements writing. Knows what to cut, when to cut it, and why.

Experience directing or managing design resource day-to-day, formally or informally.

Direct, low-overhead communication style. Escalates early, says what they mean, does not need managing.

High ownership mentality. Comfortable setting their own structure in a fast-moving environment.

Drive end-to-end delivery from scoping through to first release. Identify and resolve blockers before they become delays.

Own and manage the backlog day-to-day. Write clear briefs, acceptance criteria, and requirements. Ensure engineering always has well-defined, ready work in front of them.

Direct a UX Designer day-to-day. Set clear briefs, give fast actionable feedback, and triage design work across competing demands.

QA product output before it reaches users. Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to engineering, commercial, and leadership stakeholders.

Coordinate with the rest of Production shared platform dependencies. Keep the CPO informed without creating dependency.
